Looking for good-value, two-bedroom apartments with quick-and-easy transport links into Westminster and the City and the West End of London? Stay at Griffin House Holiday Apartments. We offer exceptional self-catering flats for the price of a room in a hotel.

Built as a vicarage in 1790, Griffin House is a Georgian Town House offering two spacious, comfortable two-bedroom apartments, with the Garden Apartment having direct access to the stunning sub-tropical garden and a separate family-sized kitchen.  The other  flat, the Upper Apartment consists of the whole of the top floor of the house is a light-filled space and benefits from an  open-plan kitchen, living room and diner plus luxurious bath, shower and double sinks.

Each has a fully-equipped kitchen including dishwasher, a modern bathroom with shower,  and free fibre optic broadband and Freeview.

The apartments are close to Stockwell underground station, south central London with the West End just 10 minutes away by tube or 15 minutes by bus. The Vauxhall Gay Village is a 15-minute walk away.  We are also near the up-and-coming district  of Brixton with its street markets and trendy restaurants, fast become the hipster capital of South London.

The apartments are run by partners Ben Brandstaetter and Nicholas Kynaston, who live on premises with Bruno, the German Wire-haired Pointer.

The Upper Apartment

The fabulous light and airy 65-sq-metre (700-sq-ft) Upper Apartment has a generous sized kitchen/diner/sitting room and two good-sized bedrooms, one with a King bed the other with a choice of  either a double or twin beds...

House With History

Built  as a vicarage (priest's house) around 1785, Griffin House  is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It was named Griffin House as the griffin, a mythical creature, half lion, half eagle, is the heraldic symbol of the Manor of Vauxhall.

We're situated near three tube stops - so you can be in the heart of London in 10 minutes. But don't forget to explore the local area too! Cosmopolitan Brixton is South London's hipster hang out and Clapham's many restaurants are worth a visit too!

An Oasis in the City

The Griffin House garden is magical. The 30-metre (100-ft) space is divided into three - a sub tropical patio, a croquet lawn and a wildlife area complete with a pond inhabited by turtles, fish and the odd dragonfly.
